Bridger was bought by our volunteer from a horse trainer who working with him for a year after getting him from the BLM. He is still gaining experience with ground work but has progressed quickly under saddle. He loves connecting with people and making them laugh when he plays with the obstacles instead of going through them. Grooming is his favorite activity and he loves to be scratched. As a younger horse, Bridger is always in training as he learns about the work that we do.
Health: Bridger has had a lot of dental work due to a major injury to his jaw when he was still out in the wild. He needs consistent dental work long term to keep his mouth in good shape. He has a sensitive digestive system that requires a special supplement. He is allergic to the flies, so we have to keep him covered, fly sprayed, and on allergy medication in the warm months.
